We’ve been counting down the days until a whole week of freedom filled with turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Here are a few of the most anticipated activities we’re looking forward to doing during turkey week.

  1. Sleeping.  By this time in the semester students are a good 4 days behind on sleep and are virtually zombies walking the halls. Some still have never caught back up on sleep from late football/ volleyball games or even homecoming, but this week is the perfect time to catch up on all that precious sleep lost.

  1. Binge watching. From Riverdale to The Walking Dead there is bound to be a series that students want (or more like need) to catch up on. And if there is nothing to catch up on a week is enough to start (and finish?) and whole tv series.

  1. Eating, Eating, and Eating. After all that’s what this whole holiday is about, right?

  1. CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. It is only legal to set up Christmas decorations after Turkey Day (at least it should be) but Thanksgiving day is fair game, and in my opinion it’s about time to get back into the Christmas spirit.

  1. Relaxing. This is our first full week off since the beginning of school and we need to take advantage of it. Throw that backpack in the closet and pretend school is some abstract idea that doesn’t exist. (just be sure to do your homework like the night before school starts back or so).
