New restaurants arrive in Texarkana
You may have noticed two new restaurants when driving around Texarkana. Hawkins Grill and Crossroads Bar and Grill are two recent additions to the city.

Hawkins Grill is on St. Michael’s Drive in the building where Larry’s Pizza used to be. With the COVID shutdown, the owners of Larry’s weren’t sure of the viability of the buffet model on the other side of the pandemic, so they decided to change their building into another restaurant. The new place serves steaks, burgers, pasta options, shrimp and fish.

Crossroads Bar and Grill is on the west side of State Line, next to IHOP. It is a locally-owned cajun restaurant that will focus on local taste. The menu currently features some Cajun favorites, such as gumbo, etouffee, as well as other dishes like honey glazed salmon. There is also the Wagyu Ribeye, named for an exotic cut of Japanese beef.
